In our column, we listed, quite frankly, some of the many systems that are about to become overhauled in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. The position of the Autumnal Equinox (a point we are fast approaching) suggests civilization's cultural template, the best of what society has to offer. At it's heart is a level playing field, a system of justice that sets its bearings by an internal moral compass. When all is said and done, we are One. What you do to others you do to yourself, so it behooves us to at least treat other people fairly at the least. If you'd like to store up some credits at the Karmic Bank, give to others beyond what is fair, just or kind and it will come back to you.

  As we look into the Karmic Mirror, where else is it going to go?

  As we draw closer to the Age of Aquarius, a new vibration is beginning to fill the land. It is a sense of freedom and independence, while working within the community. Leo, the sign opposite Aquarius, is representative of central authority concentrated in the hands of a royal personage, symbolized by the commanding light of the Sun. Aquarius is just the opposite. The light here, rather than being blinding and singular in nature, is diffuse and diminutive. Far from chasing the darkness aware (as the Sun does), the divine fire of the stars helps to define and calibrate the evening, marking its nocturnal passage.

More cooperation

  While we stand at the threshold of the Age of Aquarius, the Uranian themes can be seen appearing all around us. The latest computer technology sets the pace, with new and improved models coming out every six months or so, generating archaeological artifacts like a geological strata out of anything four or more years old.

  Time was when a hammer could be passed down to your son, and to his son. Not today.

  The pace is quickening.

  As the system that we have known begins to crumble, part of the new vibe will be an extended spirit of cooperation- of people working together to locally solve the problems that arise. It will be our choice, and we can choose what we will. The established forms of government, especially at the state and federal levels, will not have the resources to cope with the challenges that are on their way. What will make a difference will be a local populace that pulls together to solve local problems; not because they work for the heirarchy, but just because it is what needs to be done. The Volunteers of America (and elsewhere) will step forward to lend support, food and essential services whenever possible. In these times of scarcity how we treat each other is what spirit will be most mindful of.

  When the chips were down, how did you do?

No cooperation

  It will seem to many that our life of magnificence and ease will come to an end, and in many ways that's true. A commercial enterprise is coming to completion. But this is the shift we need, not born of democrat or environmentalist, but by Mother Nature Herself, as she arranges for the conditions that are needed to put this new show on the road.

  Before everything is said and done, this country will stand divided against itself, not knowing where to turn or what to do. In the end, a growing, passive resistance will stop letting itself be ordered around, of being told and trained in methods of manslaughter or intimidation. It will become evident to more and more people that the killing God's children- and we are all God's children- is not the path we should be taking for the future.
