The question many are wrestling with in these days of change is, what is my focus? What am I supposed to do through the turbulent times ahead?

Dirty Jobs

A world at work

Naturally, there are specific conditions for each of us, of what we must do to prepare our path- but there are also generic themes we can collectively apply. Where should we focus our efforts in the days ahead?

We have spoken of cooperation in the past, and this is one of the essential Aquarian ingredients of our equation. As the Age of Aquarius dawns (as the Vernal Equinox aligns with Omega Piscium), we will witness the birth of a new generation. Using the collective network we will learn to pull together as One, fully aware of our differences, but willing to trust in an underlying Unity we all share. Cooperation alone will not be sufficient to help carry the day. It will need to be fused with an underlying spark whose spirit ignites the fire, translating ideals into action.

While the Vernal Equinox, the beginning of Spring, marks who our subjective identity is as a people, the Autumnal Equinox represents how that society strives for the cultivation of its civilization. Here is where music, art, poetry, sculpture and cuisine are molded, shaped and refined. During Pisces, the Autumnal Equinox has been in Virgo, and we have plunged into the depths of unknown continents to provide the best merchandise money can buy.

Nine children

Children of the World

Traders were the princes of our time. Although it is winding down fast, they are still the power in charge, though their grip is weakening. Material goods have been made available to the chosen few; to those of the proper national and financial status. Virgo deals with details and precision, but it can also division and insulation. It separates the wheat from the chaff in a prioritized list, with the most detailed and cleanest at the top. A world of workers- harnessed to their daily chores yet not really making enough to make ends meet- describes the bulk of the Earth's population. This is the system we are leaving behind, with its educational, medical, financial and political infrastructures upended by their own top-heaviness.

  You're talking yesterday here.

The constellation Virgo on the Autumnal Equinox is being replaced by Leo, which means that civilization is getting ready to re-define what it considers to be civilized.

What does this mean for us?

  A whole new ball game.

Free hugs

Sternum to sternum

Rather than 'getting a good job' (Virgo) we will begin to think of what it is we are leaving our children (Leo). If you truly want to change the future, the answer is in educating (Aquarius) the youth (Leo). Teach them the values of the heart (Leo) rather than those of the head (Virgo). When we come together and hug in greeting, press sternum to sternum, the seat of our heart's energy. In this way we begin to literally establish heart-to-heart connections with each other, creating the very social network we are looking for to catch us in our time of need.

The Autumnal Equinox is moving into Leo. Leo is ruled by the Sun. These themes of the Sun will represent the new social focus of the future, growing stronger as the days grow longer.

  There's a new day dawning.
