Rockin' and a Rollin'
The outer planets are the ones that move more slowly through the heavens, and therefore 'trigger' the Earth at deeper levels, making for social, geopolitical, and even geophysical transformations.
Three (out of four) of the outer planets are currently involved in a tight 'floating' configuration, with Uranus at 28 degrees of Pisces, Saturn at 28 degrees of Virgo, and Neptune at 28 degrees of Aquarius. Because the planets are all at the same number of degrees the tension of the celestial alignments are putting a strain on the Earth, like bending back a great bow, with irresistible objects coming up against immovable forces.
Something's gotta give.
This is what happens with plate tectonics. As the inner Earth slowly twists, turns and molts from within, this motion is transferred and stored in the outer edges as these forces rise to the surface. For a time they build until the critical mass finally shifts and releases the tension, wherein the process starts all over again.
The Mayans believed the current Age would end in earthquake. Earthquake is sister to volcanic eruption. They both are flags demonstrating that the inner Earth is in flux. Matthew says that the 'time of the end' (end of the Age) will contain the following clues:
"You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but do not be alarmed, for this is something that must happen, but the end will not be yet. For nation will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes here and there. All this is only the beginning of the birth pangs."
Nation against nation is fairly obvious. Kingdom against kingdom is an ear-mark for the Old and New Ages colliding with each other like two great rivers. Each represents and different stream of thought, a different way of being.
Because the outer planets move so slowly, they've been 'holding' in this three-way configuration for a while. One reason we're looking more closely at this alignment now is because the Full Moon is joining the chorus this week. Under the Full Moon, the gravitational attraction of the Sun and Moon reach out, each one taking a hand of the Earth and then pulling in opposite directions. This stretches the Earth and puts additional strain on her inner plates, like a great wind coming along and shaking the limbs of an already over-ripe, fruit-laden Tree. Sunday afternoon the Moon aligns with the Saturn Uranus opposition, while on Wednesday morning the Full Moon is exact, followed by planetary triggers to Uranus on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
We can anticipate that the end of the Age of Pisces is what is now happening all around us, but these are only the hors d'oevres. Once a pulse pattern has been established, the inner vibrations will begin to dance in time to the celestial alignments.
In people's lives this usually means things are crazier, busier, and we have to change our plans (Mercury is retrograde), causing us to focus on our equipment and mechanical needs (among others). It's time to review how we get from here to there. We may have to accommodate a new perspective, with its own timetable.
The signature keynote of the up-coming times is 'lightning'. When it happens, it's going to happen fast, probably in a single day.
Iceland, that tiny island nation perched on a barren landscape had fallen behind in her EU payments. Some considered sending the British navy off their shores to 'demonstrate' the importance of the matter. This for a nation that does not even have a navy.
The Norse gods heard their prayers, and shut down EU trade in a single day.
It's given them something to think about.
This is the sort of thing we can anticipate will continue in different localities all over the planet. The spiritual question is how will we treat each other during these changing times of increased difficulty?
We are seeing glimpses of our immediate futures. It's not business as usual any more. That's what both heaven and the legends call for.
