Supreme Court 2010

The US Supreme Court 2010
and how they voted

Earlier today, on Thursday, January 21st, 2010, the Supreme Court voted in a 5-to-4 decision, to release corporations from campaign contribution limitations for the candidates of their choice.

Big business can now spend as much as they want on who they want where they want. The ruling states that not allowing the corporations to do so would infringe upon their 'freedom of speech'.

The Supreme Court is upholding the finest tradition of the Law. It is trying to level the playing field, and after all, isn't that what the symbol of the Zodiacal Scales is all about?

  Everybody gets a fair shake.

That's what we've been led to believe.

On March 7th, the US Progressed Mercury will inconjunct our natal Neptune. On the same day transiting Neptune conjuncts the US Moon. The events taking place in the national media building into that time are a smokescreen for what is really happening. What the media is attempting to focus your attention on, how it is attempting to frame your perspective, is not really what's happening.

We're building into this alignment now. Underneath it all, Pluto is moving deeper into Capricorn (up to 4 degrees), and we're seeing increasing corporate control of the economic system. On national Pluto is in the 2nd house, and manipulating the fiscal flow is what its all about. Buying the politicians you need is the quickest path to power.

Of course another way of leveling the playing field in a democratic system would be to give every person an equal vote and then simply taking the majority opinion. Of course, that hasn't happened in a while. Even though we don't know who the controlling interests are in some of these corporations, may the highest bidder win. This was how Judge John Paul Stevens's dissenting opinion put it,

"The Court's ruling threatens to undermine the integrity of elected institutions across the nation... [it's] a rejection of the common sense of the American people, who have recognized a need to prevent corporations from undermining self government since the founding..."

"While American democracy is imperfect, few outside the majority of this Court would have thought its flaws included a dearth of corporate money in politics."

Mercury inconjuncting Neptune is either communicational deception or a wave on national anguish. Neptune conjuncting the Aquarian US Moon is an emotional loss or disappointment.

Pluto in Capricorn vs. Moon in Aquarius

Democracy is being diluted. What power the people had is being sold down the river. Neptune is the planet of illusion and confusion. This is the realm of the sub-conscious, because we're not aware, not conscious, of what's really happening. With Neptune involved in two powerful alignments on the same day, we should set our focus for 'fuzz' and know that we won't be getting a clear picture.

The US Moon in Aquarius is a part of our national personality. It's how we picture ourselves. Between now and the Spring we will be told why we need to let go of a chunk of our self-image, as we are given the reasons for this pre-meditated malaise.

  Mark your calendars.

Look for another economic or political fleecing building into the first week of March.
