Out of the Darkness

As the size of the corruption ring uncovered in New Jersey reverberates in the news, with the number of mayors, rabbis and state legislators having to be carted away in buses, know that this is the beginnings of the end of a centuries old period of darkness that we are coming through, but that it's not over yet. The Aztecs spoke of this epoch, whose conclusion is marked by the end of their calendar in 2012 after generations. In the West we measure it as the end of the Age of Pisces. In Ireland, this summer revealed generations of priests defrocking (sic) the children placed in their trust. In a boil that still has yet to be lanced, the past administration misused both funds and power in the name of profit for their friends and corporate allies. Although there are glimmers of hope with the new administration, they have not yet foresworn all the ways of those who went before, causing considerable concern.
Pisces is coming to an end, Aquarius is getting ready to dawn. Two great steams of consciousness are ready to collide, with all the different values each represents. Know that tales of past corruption are only just beginning to make the news. There will be more. Pisces is a sign of insulation and isolation. Because it rules the subconscious, it deals with confusion, illusion, fog, smokescreens, deceit and other situations where we are asleep or comatose.

Aquarius, however, is a sign of knowledge and information. It is the high-tech revolution, interested in the common good and civil rights of citizens everywhere, regardless of national distinctions, race, sex or species. As the inevitable collision approaches we will see and hear tales of incredible cruelty to our fellow man, woman and child, tales of genocide, corruption and shame driven by profit, the Lord of days now entering their twilight. The good news is that these stories are coming to light because they are coming to an end, their time is over. The bad news is that we're not quite out of the woods yet, as there are some twists and turns in the path ahead.
In different ways, both Pisces and Aquarius are a sign of the people. Pisces represents the masses, herded like a school of fish, while Aquarius is the collective community, each headed in their own, independent directions. Currently, Aquarians are bonded by their laptops and the internet, but that will change soon, as we learn to lose the hardware and access the mainframe without the keyboard.
The future will not be a time of revenge, or of getting even. For all of those who authored what is being put behind us there will be great sadness when they are exposed, for there are those who love them too. The future will fail to look back and study history in the way we do now, because for thousands of years they have all been periods of corruption, and why study corruption?
Many seek to know what the future will hold, and indeed the answer is yet in doubt, but it is in doubt because we are part of the equation. What we decide to do with the ways and people of the past will determine our path for the future. Do we look for revenge for all the sufferings gone by, or do we sow new seeds of hope for our children and teach them to forgive? For this is the true path which takes us out of the darkness, and back into the light.
