Twins

There are several waves of activity at work through this WEBWeek. As we open, the Sun and Venus are running together through the degrees of Gemini, chatting us up, relating pleasant trips and getting their points across in fascinating ways. The days seem bright, our efforts comfortable, our chores enjoyable diversions. On Friday morning and Saturday afternoon (13th and 14th), the Sun and Venus will trine Neptune, bringing to a culmination some of what we have been working on over the last few weeks. We are now best able to craft our vision, to polish our image, to tell our story.

As we head into Saturday evening, the mood shifts. Mars inconjuncts Jupiter early Sunday morning and inconjuncts Uranus at midnight following the Full Moon Wednesday evening. These are among some of the most explosive aspects going. Mars is male energy; the push, shove or surge. It is strong and, under difficult alignments, raw and impulsive.

  These are difficult alignments.

Mars

Mars

Mars represents things that go bang. Mars in a hard aspect to Uranus are unstable explosions. Uranus is the blueprint, the wiring diagram, the plan. A painful lesson could be learned (he said diplomatically) about the use of force. Controlled charges do not fire as configured, discharge in the wrong direction, or go off prematurely. It's looking into the trash can as the firecracker explodes, leaving us blackface. It's boots left standing with a wisp of smoke drifting up out of them, or the kitchen cabinet you were trying to yank open that suddenly let go, hitting you in the head in the process.

Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) are your intellectuals. These are the people that talk, compare and gather information. Who knows which way the wind blows? Education, communications, media and which side of the fence you are on, what you have to say, is of greatest importance. Social commentary is also important.

Red Mars

Mars

Instead of inconjuncting Uranus, Mars will inconjunct Jupiter Sunday morning. While Uranus is intermittent, unexpected or electrical, Jupiter is simply big, excessive or opinionated. Mars inconjunct Uranus can be frayed electrical wire. Mars inconjunct Jupiter can be getting into a political argument with the boss (Jupiter's in Capricorn).

Mars is strong, fast and hot. He is the quickest of all the gods, but in a hard aspect, he is too quick, fast, impulsive or premature. Folks tend to get angry under hard Mars aspects. The celestial fire wants us to do it faster; hurry up; get it done! The danger is accidents. Inconjuncts are 150 degree alignments. If you're not careful they can represent rips or tears. One of the secrets with Mars is that we do it to ourselves, we are in charge. You can be baited by the anger, or urged by the expediency of the event, but it is your choice. The wisdom is to slow down and control rather than force.

If you're going to hit a wall, slower is better.

Of these two martial aspects (early Sunday morning and late Wednesday night), the one Wednesday is the more potent, coming hard on the heels of the Full Moon. With Mercury also pivoting into its forward motion the next morning, prepare for some changes late Wednesday or early Thursday.

The best time to harness these wild horses and get them to pull for you would be late Monday and into Tuesday morning. At that time, Mars is at the mid-point of the Jupiter Uranus alignments, and our strength, stamina and focus are at their peak. With Mars in Leo, our creative focus, loving efforts and/or time with the children can be educational, informative and far reaching as long as they are not self-serving. Travel plans are easier, too.
