What secrets lie within?

As of the end of January, Pluto moved out of Sagittarius and into Capricorn. It has now reached its high water mark at one degree and nine minutes of Cap and begun to drop, having started its retrograde motion last week. This is Pluto's initial foray into Cap's mountains. We are starting to see some of the results of what was being called for last year as we studied the history.

While Pluto was in Sag, there was abundant credit. As long as you hadn't picked up a financial 'black mark', solicitations for new credit cards came in nearly every week. Sag is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion. Of course, one of the flip sides to this combination was the tendency to overspend.

Now that Pluto is in Capricorn, we are looking at credit (Pluto) consolidation (Cap). Capricorn is hard and cold. The 'bubbles' of the previous few years were 'over-inflated', such as Enron, the technologies and most recently the housing market. Sagittarius is a fire sign, it activates and lifts, like a tissue thrown into a campfire which rises with a shower of sparks into the night air. Capricorn concentrates the energy, making it more solid, like stone or concrete. It is an earth sign which drops like a rock through water until it finds something stable it can rest on. If Capricorn does begin to rise, as with a great mountain range, it is because it has a very solid base to build on in the geological layers of the Earth. It's like, 'heavy' man.

Although we didn't know it at the time, history has shown that many of our previous recessions were caused by the Federal Reserve contracting money (which means credit) from out of the system. The 1907 recession was started by rumors J.P. Morgan circulated, which caused a run of the banks, together with the resulting financial panic which came in its wake.

American Nobel Laureate economist Milton Friedman and others have clearly shown that the Fed was the chief source of the depression in the 1930s. Its purpose was two-fold, to drop rates so that businesses could be purchased for pennies on the dollar, and to create favorable legislation in Congress for the establishment of the Federal Reserve, an institution whose job was supposed to be moderation of the nation's economy.

With Pluto's entry into Capricorn, this pattern is being set into motion once again. Astrology is a system of cycles and patterns. This pattern has been seen before, and this astrologer is saying that it is happening again. A scare or panic is engineered into the system. It sets off a chain reaction which causes banks to fail and people to lose their assets. The Federal Reserve is then voted more powers in order to deal with the situation. Long after the smoke clears, the information comes out but by that time it is 'history' and it's too late to really do anything about it.

The Federal Reserve has just been voted additional powers to deal with the current crisis. With the collapse of Bear Stearns (we predicted bank failures last summer), the Fed has now been granted even more powers to help regulate the system.

What so many people don't seem to realize is that the Fed is not a branch of the government, but is a for-profit institution. It is a business, whose principal job is to make money. But don't worry.

The cat is watching the canary for us.
